Crank Case & End Covers

The Crank Case is made of high grade cast iron and it housed the crank shaft and connecting rod assembly and the cross head and plunger assembly. The plunger housing Is fitted on to it using studs and nuts. It acts as the pump for the lubricating ill and is Provided with a dipstick to check the oil level, a drain plug and a breather.

Crank Shaft & Connecting Rod

The Crank Shaft is precision machined and dynamically balanced. The connecting Rod big ends and small end are provided with phosphor bronze bush bearings assembled True y & x axis.

Plunger Housing

It is made of high grade cast iron and it houses the plunger, and the suction and Delivery valve assemblies. The suction pipe, balancing drum, safety valve and the Delivery hose and fitted to the plunger housing.

Balancing Drum

Balancing Drum

A balancing drum is provided on the plunger housing at the discharge side for Dampening the delivery water pulsation. It is provided with a synthetic rubber Diaphragm and is filled with compressed air at 18 kgf/cm2 pressure.

Safety Valve

The safety valve provided on the unit limits the pressure developed by the vehicle Washer. On reaching the pre-adjusted maximum pressure limit, the valve seat opens and Allows the excess water to be discharged through the delivery pipe connection to it. The Working pressure can be increased or decreased by respectively tightening or lossening the Pressure adjuster. When the washing gun is closed all the pumped water will be delivered Through the safety valve.

Gun Assembly & Hose

A six meter long high pressure water hose is provided with necessary end fittings And washing gun. The delivery water can be adjusted for spray or jet by adjusting the knob Provided on the gun. The hose is hydraulically tested for 60kgf/cm2 pressure.

Cross Head

The cross head is made of high grade cast iron. The gudgeon pin is of chorme steel, Case hardened and precision ground.

Plunger

The plunger is made of stainless steel and precision machined. It is fixed to the cross Head and reciprocates through a lipped packing which seals the crank case from the water Pumping side. The lipped packing accommodates grease to lubricate the plunger.
